Girls soccer: The girls team has experienced a lot of delayed starts for their games however it has given them a lot of time to bond since we are comprised of athletes from Baltimore, Cincinnati, St. Louis and San Francisco. After waiting out a heat advisory delay, the girls played hard their first time as a team in a 3-1 loss to Rockland/Mid-Westchester and competed against the LA blue team in a 4-0 loss. Wednesday morning the girls graciously volunteered to pick up trash from the field which had been used the night before for opening ceremonies. Their good deed paid off as they tied Vancouver/Stamford/Metro West in the morning and lost in a good match against Boca Raton.
